An excellent condition Yamaha 650 clarinet, which has just been taken in part exchange by Clarinets Direct. This instrument was bought new some 4 years ago, and it has seen its original owner up to Ass. Bd. Grade 7 and achieve a Music Scholarship to a prestigious school.
The Yamaha 650 is the top selling rival to the Buffet E13. It tends to give less trouble than the E13, because, unlike the current Buffet, the Grenadilla wood moves less, causing fewer problems with sticking joints. Yamaha quality control and build quality are exemplary, and these instruments are easy to live with and perfect for the advancing student. The serial numbers are 125891. The instrument features tapered and undercut tone holes, Silver plated keywork, and a voicing groove to the neck of the bell. The clarinet has just been re-padded in fish skin pads throughout, and is sold with our full Clarinets Direct warranty. The supplied m'piece is an used Yamaha 4C, with a Gigliotti ligature and cap. The case is in good condition, though there are a few interior marks.
