YAMAHA YCL650 Bb CLARINET, £845

A mint condition "as new" Yamaha 650 clarinet, which is a commission sale for Clarinets Direct. This instrument was bought new recently by a regular customer of Clarinets Direct. As an adult amateur player specialising in jazz he finds this clarinet, though excellent, not to his taste. The clarinet has been played for less than 3 hours in total, the m'piece has not even been unwrapped. The instrument is supplied with all instruction manuals and Yamaha literature, exactly as new.
The Yamaha 650 is the top selling rival to the Buffet E13. It tends to give less trouble than the E13, because, unlike the current Buffet, the Grenadilla wood moves less, causing fewer problems with sticking joints. Yamaha quality control and build quality are exemplary, and these instruments are easy to live with and perfect for the advancing student. The instrument features an adjustable thumbrest, tapered and undercut tone holes, Silver plated keywork, and a voicing groove to the neck of the bell. The supplied m'piece is an unused Yamaha 3C. The case and carry pouch are in perfect condition.
