VITO, BY LEBLANC, BBb CONTRABASS CLARINET, £2495

This is a Vito BBb Contrabass clarinet, model 7182, range to low Eb. The instrument is made from Resotone plastic, and has a key lay out ideal for the beginning contrabass player. The design has a double register key, and also features balanced key action. The bore is 30mm & the S/N 2096D. There are no cracks or damage, and the Nickel plated keywork is in very good condition. We have just overhauled the Contra, in Pisoni Premium Deluxe Tan Leather pads, and it is sold with our full Clarinets Direct 1 year warranty. The mouthpiece, is a Selmer E: This is a costly upgrade, as a Selmer Contrabass m'piece retails for over £500, but this does mean that the response is much improved over the original supplied m'piece. The original case is also in excellent used condition.
