VITO, BY LEBLANC, BBb CONTRABASS CLARINET, £2295

This is a Vito BBb Contrabass clarinet, model 7182, range to low Eb. The instrument is made from Resotone plastic, and has a key lay out ideal for the beginning contrabass player. The design has a double register key, and also features balanced key action. The bore is 30mm & the S/N 2096D. There are no cracks or damage, and the Nickel plated keywork is in very good condition. The Contra was completely re-padded by ourselves last year in Pisoni Premium Deluxe Tan Leather pads, and the pads are still in "as new" condition. The mouthpiece, is a Selmer E: This is a costly upgrade, as a Selmer Contrabass m'piece retails for over £500, but this does mean that the response is much improved over the original supplied m'piece. The original case is also in excellent used condition.
