Buffet Crampon is the undisputed finest volume maker of clarinets in the World today. This clarinet is one of their most expensive models, a Tosca. The Tosca is the latest incarnation of the legendary R13 model.
The instrument is in near mint condition. The plating is pristine. The wood is without mark or blemish: NO damage or cracks whatsoever. It was hand selected by a professional player from the Buffet factory less than 18 months ago. The instrument features a corrective low F key and vent. The intonation and response are outstanding. The matching serial numbers are 651145. The pads are finest Pisoni white leather in good condition. This clarinet is almost "as new", with only slight wear to the pads, corks and stamps, to distinguish it from new. There are 2 supplied barrels, of 65mm and 66mm with all pieces matching and original. The condition of the Buffet double Tosca case is also excellent. The professional player who selected this instrument has just purhased a pair of Schwenk & Seggelke instruments, consequently this instrument, which has been used for less than 4 months, is offered to the market .
