SELMER PARIS SERIES 9 Bb CLARINET

A good condition Selmer Series 9 Bb Clarinet , which is a commission sale for Clarinets Direct. The 9* was marketed by Selmer as "pour la musique symphonique", the 9 was "pour le jazz et les varietes." The Nickel Silver keywork is in good condition with only slight  plating loss; mainly to the A key, register key & RH rings. The Grenadilla wood is in good condition for an instrument of this vintage, but there are two very well professionally repaired sealed cracks to the upper part of the lower joint, see photos 7 & 12. The clarinet  has recently a complete overhaul in Pisoni Premium Deluxe Fish skin pads and all pads are as new. The clarinet measures 15.25mm at the top of the reverse cone of the upper joint. The matching serial numbers are S7082, dating to 1959. The case of modern over the shoulder carry type in as new condition. There are two supplied m'pieces, a used Leblanc 2L and an as new Vandoren M15, with box.
