This is an extremely fine Selmer Paris professional Eb Clarinet.
Selmer Eb clarinets are probably the most popular choice amongst professional players
worldwide due to their fine ergonomics and excellent intonation.
The wood shows no cracks or damage, apart from a tight hairline surface crack to the bell, see photo 12.
The workshop considers this crack so fine, and, as it does not go through to the bore, a repair is unnecessary.
The Nickel Silver plate shows no wear, though the key work will be buffed and polished as part of our overhaul.
NB The instrument was photographed prior to going through our workshop.
The S/N is B6104 which dates to 1980.
In addition a further series of matching serial nos. have been etched into the wood,
possibly the clarinet previously belonged to a School of Music, or was part of a band inventory.
The instrument has just been fully overhauled in our workshop in Pisoni Premium Deluxe fish skin pads,
and is sold with our full years' warranty. The m'piece is a Selmer HS**, in good condition.
The barrel is stamped 47 i.e. 47mm long.
The case is the original, in very good condition.
