This is a superb condition Selmer Bass Clarinet in Grenadilla wood, to low C. This Bass was initially chosen by Daphne Down at the Selmer factory. Subsequently it was owned and played for many years by Felicity Edwards, including being played in the Orchestra of Welsh National Opera. It then was bought earlier this year by another professional, who sadly now has to sell it due to developing an allergy to Nickel.
All Nickel Silver plate key work is in excellent condition, with only the slightest of surface marks consistent with professional ownership, and careful use. Likewise the bell and crook are both in excellent condition, with only slight flattening to the base of the bell. There are no cracks or damage to the wood; which is pristine throughout.  The matching serial nos. are U1704. All pads are tan leather in excellent condition, the Bass has just had a thorough check up in our workshop, the key regulation throughout is also excellent. The case is a Selmer original, again in very good order. The m'piece is a Lelandais, which is again in excellent used condition.
