This is a superb condition Selmer Bass Clarinet in Grenadilla wood, to low C. In the UK this second generation model of the original Selmer low C Bass clarinet was known as the Mark II, or revised model 33. All Silver plate key work is in excellent condition, with only the slightest of surface marks consistent with careful ownership. Like wise the crook and bell have only surface marks and light scratches, there are no dents or dings. There are also no cracks or damage to the wood; which is pristine throughout.  The original owner was a professional who chose this Bass with the guidance of Mike Huntriss, who was then Bass clarinettist of the RSNO, in 1992. Subsequently the Bass was owned by an amateur player, who has maintained it carefully. The matching serial nos. are F0365. All pads are tan leather in excellent condition, the key regulation throughout is also precise and even. The case is a BAM original, with straps to be carried as a rucksack, and rain cover, again in pristine order. The m'piece is an "as new" Portnoy No. 2 with a Rovner ligature.
