PAIR OF SELMER RECITAL CLARINETS, £3995

An excellent matched pair of Selmer Recital clarinets in Silver plate. These instrument are a commission sale for Clarinets Direct. Their sole former owner is Paul Harvey, the well known clarinettist and saxophonist. These instruments were used by Paul, from the 1980s onwards, in many of the UKs leading orchestras, including a Prom season with the BBCSO.
There is no damage to the wood, which is crack and repair free. The plating overall is very good with no loss.  Both instruments have had a full check up in our workshop prior to sale; with pads, tenon corks and touch corks, replaced as necessary.   The Bb has S/N D1148, the A S/N C8105, the pair were bought new in 1983.  All pieces are original and stamped Selmer, the barrels measure, 61.5mm, 62.5 and 64.5mm. The case is the original leather Selmer example whith dust cover, it is used, but in good condition. The supplied m'piece is a lightly used Selmer C85 115. These instruments have been exceptionally well cared for.
