BUFFET CRAMPON RC PRESTIGE BASS CLARINET, £4695

This is a superb condition Buffet Prestige Bass Clarinet in Grenadilla wood, to low C, which is a commission sale for Clarinets Direct. The instrument has had only one professional owner, who won the instrument new as the "Hawkes Prize" whilst studying at the Royal Academy of Music. The instrument was then used for approximately 8 years as part of a busy freelance career. The owner now runs a successful Music School here in the South East, and as she no longer plays the Bass it is offered to the market.
All Silver plated key work is in excellent condition. There are no cracks or damage to the wood which is pristine. This type of Buffet Bass has a double overblowing vent, and features alternative fingerings for low D. This Bass has finest Pisoni White Leather pads throughout in excellent condition. The Bass has been down to our workshop for a partial repad and regulation, and in addition the key work has been oiled. The playing condition is superb. There is a floor peg to the bell, and the matching serial nos. are 27491. The instrument comes in the original case, which is in very good condition, in addition there is also a leather case supplied, and a K&M Bass stand.
