MATCHED PAIR OF BUFFET R13 CLARINETS, £2695

These superb condition R13s are a commission sale for Clarinets Direct. It is extremely rare to find instruments of this calibre which have had such little use, but fortunately for the pairs' next owner such is the case here. These instruments date from 1966 and 1967, which is commonly known as the "Golden Era" of Buffet R13 manufacture. Both instruments have just been completely overhauled by "Clarinets Direct" and are sold with our full 1 year Warranty.
The Bb Clarinet, with matching S/N 93909 is in superb condition. The Grenadilla wood which is unstained, is pristine throughout, no cracks, repairs or damage whatsoever. The Nickel Silver plating is near perfect, in sharp contrast to the plating of more recent Buffet clarinets.
The A clarinet is again in excellent condition. The matching S/N's are F83885. The Grenadilla wood and Nickel Silver key work are all in near perfect condition. The only blemish to the pair is that this type of Buffet case, which is a more modern replacement, causes the lower tenon cork of the bottom joint to contract, as the instruments are stored with the bells on. ` The case is supplied with keys and is in very good condition. The m'piece is an "as new" Vandoren B45 Lyre. .
