BUFFET R13 Bb CLARINET, £1195

An excellent Buffet R13, which is a commission sale for Clarinets Direct. This instrument has matching serial nos. 147863, which dates to 1974. This was just prior to the launch of the RC, in 1975, and at this time the R13 was the finest model in the Buffet catologue. Consequently R13s from this period, the so called "Golden Era", are particularly prized.
The Nickel Silver plated key work is pristine throughout. The wood is in good condition with no cracks or damage, only slight surface marks The instrument has been recently re-padded in Pisoni Premium Deluxe Fish skin Pads, and all are in "as new" condition. The regulation is excellent, the clarinet has been down to our workshop for a thorough "check down" prior to sale. There is no joint wobble. The mouthpiece is a used Vandoren 5RV in good condition. The case is a Selmer, in brown leather, there are some stains and scuffs to the interior, but the exterior condition is good, and the case is in remarkably fine shape for its age.
