BUFFET RC PRESTIGE BASS, LOW C. £3750

This is a very good condition Buffet Prestige RC Bass Clarinet in Grenadilla wood, to low C. All Silver plate key work is in excellent condition, with only light surface marks consistent with careful use. There are no cracks or damage to the wood; which is pristine throughout.   The matching serial nos. are 25263, which dates to 1991. All pads are white leather in good condition, and the mechanism is well regulated. There are some light surface scratches to the bell, and one slight ding, see photo 9. This has no effect on the response which is excellent. This is an extremely easy Bass clarinet to play, especially in the second register, everything one would expect from a Prestige instrument. The case is the original, in brown leather, it has some scuffs to the exterior but is in good condition The m'piece is a Vandoren B45, again in good used condition. This is a commission sale for Clarinets Direct as the current owner recently purchased a Selmer Bass from us.
