SELMER, PARIS, PRE-CENTERED TONE Bb CLARINET, £795

This is a Selmer Pre-CT clarinet, which has been professionally owned and is a commission sale for Clarinets Direct. It is an enhanced Boehm with fork Eb/Bb and articulated C#/G#. The former owner was a saxophone player primarily, and the articulated C#/G# matches the similar mechansim on the Sax.
The Nickel Silver plated key work is in good condition throughout, and exhibits a nice shine. The instrument has just had an overhaul in tan leather pads, and is sold with our full 1 year warranty. All springs have been checked over, and replaced if necessary. All touch corks have been replaced, the wood has been oiled, and all key work regulated. There are no cracks or repairs to the wood, just minor surface scratches and marks. There is no joint wobble. The matching serial nos. are P1158, which dates to 1951. The m'piece is a Selmer HS** which is an open jazz lay. The case, is well used, but latches securely.
