BUFFET CRAMPON PRESTIGE BASS CLARINET, £4495

This is a mint condition Buffet Prestige Bass Clarinet in Grenadilla wood, to low C, which is a commission sale for Clarinets Direct. The instrument has had only one professional owner, who bought the instrument new from Howarth's 7 years ago whilst studying at the Royal Academy of Music. The quality of recent Buffet Bass clarinets is such that they now rival Selmer. The instrument has seen negligible use, and a potential car purchase means the Bass is now offered to the market.
All Silver plated key work is in "as new" condition. There are no cracks or damage to the wood which is pristine. This type of Buffet Bass has a double overblowing vent, and features alternative fingerings for low D. This Bass has finest Pisoni White Leather pads throughout in perfect condition. It was necessary to have the lower tenon "eased" as the fit was very tight, and in addition the key work has been oiled. The playing condition is superb. There is a floor peg to the bell, and the matching serial nos. are H41238. The instrument is supplied in the original case, which is in new condition, and has the still wrapped key. The m'piece is a brand new Vandoren B40, in addition an unused box of Vandoren No. 3 reeds is supplied and a K&M Bass stand.
