LEBLANC OPUS Eb CLARINET, £1745

This is an excellent condition Leblanc Opus, Eb Clarinet in Grenadilla wood, which is a commission sale for Clarinets Direct. This Eb has had only one professional owner from new, and it has been played for the last 9 years in the Royal Opera House Orchestra at Covent Garden. The Leblanc Opus 1190EbS was the top of the range model manufactured by Leblanc, as their brochure claimed: "This Eb sets the standard for tone, response and tuning. "
The Silver plated key work shows no wear, the plating is excellent throughout. There are no cracks or damage to the wood, which is in good order throughout. This Eb has just had a recent complete Pisoni Premium Deluxe fish skin re-pad in our Clarinets Direct workshop & is sold with our 1 year warranty. The key regulation is good, there is no joint wobble. There are 2 original barrels supplied with the instrument of 43.5mm and 41mm, this shorter barrel does not go completely on to the top tenon, so it actually measures 42.5mm allowing for the gap. The original case is in excellent condition. The m'piece is an "as new" Vandoren B40.
