NOBLET PLATEAU B FLAT CLARINET, £845

An exceptionally fine condition professional Noblet Plateau B flat clarinet model 45. This clarinet has been used professionally in the West End and the current owner has now developed health problems which means that he can no longer play. All key work which is silver plated is in pristine condition. There are no cracks or damage to the wood, which is also in excellent condition. The pads and touch corks are also in very fine order. An expensive adjustable thumb rest has been fitted to the back with integral sling hook. The case is an older Selmer from the 1960s, in very good condition, as is the mouthpiece which is an ebonite Buffet. This instrument responds very freely with none of the stuffiness which sometimes afflict plateau clarinets.
