NOBLET, PARIS, PROFESSIONAL ARTIST Eb CLARINET, £795

This is a good condition Professional model Noblet Eb Piccolo Clarinet in Grenadilla wood, which has been professionally owned and played, and is a commission sale for Clarinets Direct. This is not the cheaper Noblet 40 Eb clarinet which is often mis-sold as a professional Eb, but a Noblet, Artist, Paris model 50. The wood condition overall is very fine, with only minor surface marks. There are NO cracks or repairs. The Nickel silver plate is also in very good condition for its age, with no major wear, though it would benefit from a good cleaning and polish! This Eb has double bladder fish skin pads in reasonable condition; all are sealing, but some will need replacing within the next few months depending on the amount of use the instrument gets. There are 2 m'pieces, an original Noblet, and a fine Peter Eaton, both in good condition, this last is a costly upgrade, and it benefits the instrument. The case is an older Boosey and Hawkes, in fair condition: There are tape repairs to the exterior, and the interior is also well worn.
