NOBLET PARIS ARTIST C CLARINET, £1295

This is a Noblet Artist C Clarinet, made by Leblanc, in excellent condition. The Artist Noblet, by Leblanc, was their entry level professional model. This instrument was selected from many at J & L Dawkes, then customised and tuned by Edward [Ted] Planas for Paul Allen. Paul is a well known London professional player and this instrumnent has been used, as part of a long and successful career, in most of the Capital's finest Orchestras.
This C, serial no. B53912, has no cracks or repairs, the wood is in excellent condition. The Nickel plate throughout is in very good condition, with no discernable wear. The instrument has been thoroughly checked over by Steven Butler prior to being offered for sale. All fish skin pads and corks are in good condition This clarinet was made entirely from Grenadilla wood, including the barrel, unlike some of the cheaper models in the Noblet range. The bore, in common with all other Leblanc made C clarinets, is 14.50mm. The instrument tunes exceptionally well with all standard French bore m'pieces, i.e. Vandoren.
