This is an older professional Daniel Noblet Bb clarinet, with the older logo: The "D" and "N" are intertwined. The German silver key work is excellent throughout, not plated and with no wear. We have just entirely re-padded in Pisoni Deluxe double bladder fishskin & the clarinet is sold with our full year's Clarinets Direct warranty. There are no cracks or damage to the wood which is in good order throughout, with only minor surface marks and scratches. All parts of the instrument are made from Grenadilla wood, unlike some more recent Noblets, which were made with plastic barrels and bells, as a cost saving exercise. The matching serial nos. are 6793. This instrument probably dates to the late 1950's or early 1960's. The case is the original in good condition, and the m'piece is an "AAA" in ebonite.
