NOBLET, BY LEBLANC, PROFESSIONAL ALTO CLARINET, £995

This is a good condition Noblet, Paris, Alto Clarinet in Grenadilla wood, to low Eb. The instrument is a commission sale and has been professionally owned. The Nickel Silver plated key work shows light spot wear, the plating is about 90%. There are no cracks or damage to the wood. The crook is in good condition with no dents or dings, the bell has one small dent to the bow and also some surface scratches to the plating, see photo 8. The Alto has mainly fish skin pads, with the bottom 4 being in tan leather, whilst not new, the pads are sealing well. The mouthpieces are an original Noblet and an "as new" Vandoren B40. The matching serial nos. are 3582 . The case is an original Leblanc in fair condition, there are stains to the interior and scuffs to the exterior, it does latch securely. There is also a BG sling and reeds supplied.
