This is an excellent condition Lemaire Bb clarinet, in Grenadilla wood. Strasser, Marigaux, and Lemaire were makers specialising in professional, saxophones, oboes and clarinets. Today, as Marigaux, they survive as one of the World's finest oboe manufacturers. Lemaire was the clarinettist partner in the firm and this instrument is of professional quality.
This clarinet has had a complete double bladder fish skin re-pad in our workshop, & is sold with our full 1 year warranty. All the Nickel Silver key work has been buffed to a nice shine, and is in very good condition. The wood overall is in excellent condition, with no damage or repairs. The matching serial numbers are 6225. The case is the original in good condition: There is no damage or tears to the interior or exterior, though the outer catches are slighly rusty. The m'piece is also in good condition.
