An extremely rare and fine G Leblanc C Clarinet, in excellent condition. This instrument was bought new in the 1960's by a medical student studying in London. For the last several years it has been owned and played professionally here in the UK. The instrument has been used in the Philharmonia, BBCSO, and CBSO.
The matching serial nos. are 10222, the wood has no cracks or repairs, and is in superb order throughout. The German Silver keyworkn is also in fine condition throughout. All fish skin pads and corks are in very good condition. This instrument tunes exceptionally well, and demonstrates a surprisingly warm and even tone for a C clarinet The supplied m'piece is a new Yamaha 5CM Custom in ebonite [not pictured]. The case is the original and has lost its handle, it latches and protects the instrument well.
