GEORGE LEBLANC, PARIS, PROFESSIONAL BASS CLARINET, £1695

This is a superb condition G Leblanc, Paris, Bass Clarinet in Grenadilla wood, to low Eb. This Bass was one of Leblanc's top professional models the 325S. The 325S features a fork Ab/Eb mechanism in the RH and a single overblowing vent. It is a one UK owner professional instrument, and has been extremely well cared for, even the metal guards for the crook and upper joint are still with the instrument. The Silver plated key work shows no wear, it is in excellent condition throughout. The crook is in excellent condition , the bell has only one tiny pin head ding. The Grenadilla wood shows no cracks or damage, it is pristine. This Bass will have a re-pad as necessary in our workshop, & the key work will be swaged and regulated. We will also fit a new Leblanc floor peg attachment to the bell. NB This Bass clarinet has been photographed prior to going into our Clarinets Direct workshop. The matching serial nos. are 11010, which dates to the late 1970's. The supplied mouthpiece is the original Leblanc in very good condition. The original case is also in good condition. .
