G. LEBLANC PARIS, PROFESSIONAL ALTO CLARINET, £1295

This is a very fine condition G. Leblanc Paris, Alto Clarinet in Grenadilla wood, to low Eb. This is a top of the range professional Alto with a large bore of 18.0mm. The German Silver plated key work is excellent throughout with no wear. There are no cracks or damage to the wood, with only minor surface marks and scratches. The bell has a few minor dents [see photos 2 & 8], these are entirely commensurate with normal use and have no effect on the response, which is excellent. The crook is in good condition and shows no damage. The Alto has just been completely overhauled by us in Pisoni Premium Deluxe Tan Leather pads , and is sold with our full 1 year warranty. The matching serial nos. are 5817, which probably dates to the 1960's. There is a sling provided. The case is a new modern example, with pouches and carry strap. The m'piece is a Lelandais with a tip opening of 1.6mm and lay length 20mm, in good condition, it plays well with Vandoren 2.5 reeds.
