MATCHED PAIR OF BUFFET R13 CLARINETS, £2745

These are an excellent condition pair of Buffet R13s which are a commission sale for Clarinets Direct. The current owner is a professional pianist, and she used these instruments as a second study clarinettist through University, consequently they have seen very little use.
The Bb Clarinet has matching S/N 292055, which dates to 1989. It has wood in very fine condition throughout, with no cracks or damage. The fish skin pads, whilst not new, are all sealing well. The instruments have been down to our workshop for regulation as necessary, and all touch and tenon corks are good. The Silver plating is in excellent condition, with no discernable wear.
The A clarinet has seen even less use than the Bb, again the wood has no cracks or repairs. The Silver plate shows no discernable wear, it is in superb condition. The pads are all fish skin in good condition, and like the Bb, the key work regulation has been done as necessary. This A Clarinet, with matching S/N 290109, also dates to 1989. All parts are original Buffet, and carry matching stamps. In addition to the two original barrels, there is now a third Buffet, of 64.5mm, for the A. The case is a modern Orly, it is in excellent condition, with a shoulder carry strap which is supplied. The m'piece is a used stock Buffet in very good condition.
