The LL clarinet was named after Leon Leblanc, and was specifically designed by him for professional players, in the 1960's. The bore is cylindrical at 14.80mm, which is of medium size. According to the Leblanc brochure the clarinet was designed for a "rich full bodied tone quality". The intonation and response of this design was excellent and this model was still available from Leblanc right up to the time that they ceased manufacture.
