LEBLANC LL Bb CLARINET, £945.

This is a mint condition Leblanc LL Bb clarinet, part of the extensive Leblanc clarinet collection of a Dutch collector. The instrumnet was bought new, but stored in cellophane wrappers within the case, and never played. The Leblanc LL, was named after Leon Leblanc, George's son. The design features an exceptionally even scale and intonation, and though introdced in the 1960s, was so successful that the model continued in manufacture right up until when the firm was sold to Buffet in 2009.
This Leblanc LL Bb clarinet is a commission sale for Clarinets Direct. The clarinet has matching serial nos. 52593. The Nickel Silver plate is in excellent condition, with no discernable wear. The wood is also pristine, with no cracks or repairs. The original fish skin pads are as new. All pieces are matching and original with bright Leblanc stamps. The case comes with the still wrapped keys and is as new, as is the supplied Leblanc L2 m'piece.
