MATCHED PAIR OF PRE-WAR, LONDON & PARIS, BOOSEY & HAWKES 1010 CLARINETS, £1395.

This matched pair of extremely rare Boosey & Hawkes, London & Paris, clarinets are in superb condition. Their current owner is a young London professional, and these instruments have been played in many of the Capitals finest orchestras. The London & Paris 1010 model, as the name suggests, was made for B&H in France. These instruments are in amazing original condition, with matching serial nos, throughout on both Bb and A, they are probably the finest pair of pre-war London and Paris Boosey & Hawkes 1010s in existence. Even the original case comes with the key.
The Bb has matching serial nos. 1242 and has key work in pristine condition. The instrument is in ebonite throughout, which is in overall excellent condition. All pads are Pisoni Tan Leather in good condition. Both instruments have been recently completely overhauled.
The A, serial nos. 1203, has no cracks or repairs. The key work throughout is in good shape. all pieces are wood apart from the original barrel, which is made of ebonite. The m'piece is stamped S/N 1203, in excellent condition,and matching to the A. The case is the original in good condition, with dust cover and key.
