A superb Boehm system clarinet made by the last maker of the legendary Albert family. The German Silver keywork is good, very solid, and with an excellent shine. The wood is in amazing condition for its age, with no cracks or repairs, only light surface marks. All white leather pads and corks are good. This instrument was made in the late 1920's or very early 1930's as Albert had moved to London by 1933 and this clarinet is stamped "Made in Belgium". The makers stamp is clearly visible, as is the stamp of the supplying dealer, " W Hamie Amsterdam". This instrument is a commission sale for Clarinets Direct, and has been played professionally & it it has been exceptionally maintained. The LH F/C touchpiece has been enlarged, see photos photos 7 & 8. The case is in fair condition with some wear to the interior lining, the handle is missing. The bore is 14.9mm, and the instrument works well with the custom barrel which is supplied. It will tune nicely with any modern French bore m'pieces, including the Vandoren M13 range.
