These are a near mint condition pair of Eaton International clarinets, which are a commission sale. The current owner is Ramon Wodkowski, a leading UK based professional, and internationally recognised mouthpiece maker and craftsman. Ramon now plays Eaton Elites. These instruments were bought new from Peter Eaton and used for 6 years in most of London's top orchestras, the LPO, LSO BBCSO, & Mahler Chamber Orchestra. Peter Eaton is gradually winding down clarinet production over the next 2 years, and will soon concentrate on mouthpiece making solely.
Both instruments have just been completely overhauled by Clarinets Direct, in finest Pisoni Premium Deluxe Tan Leather pads, and the pair is sold with our full 1 year warranty. These clarinets have no cracks or damage to the wood, which is in excellent condition throughout. The Silver plating is pristine. The International is Eaton's version of a medium bore clarinet. The matching serial nos. on the Bb are S541, and the A, S531. There are 4 interchangeable barrels of 64mm, 63mm, 62mm, and 61mm. The m'piece is a Selmer C85 115 in used condition. The case is an Orly, with zip and carry strap, in fair condition, there are some interior stains and scuffs to the exterior. Here is a chance for someone to own a superb pair of instruments, with an impressive provenance, at a good cost saving from new.
