condition pair of B&H Emperors which are a commission sale for Clarinets Direct. This pair have
had only one owner who used them through her period of study at the Royal Academy of Music,
but, thereafter, they have seen little playing.
The Bb has matching serial nos. 271287, it has unblemished silver plating throughout.
The wood is in excellent condition with no cracks or damage. The pair have
just been partially overhauled by Mike Huntriss, ex-BSO,
and a well known repairer in the Bournemouth area. All pads are fish skin in excellent condition,
as are all touch and tenon corks. This Bb comes with 2 barrels, a short of 63.5mm and
a regular of 65.5mm. In addition an "as new" B&H 926 m'piece is supplied.
This is a significant upgrade,
as usually this m'piece was supplied with the professional model Imperial 926 clarinet, and
good condition 926 m'piecse are hard to find.
The A has matching serial nos. 349582A,
and, despite having seen less use, the logo has almost comletely worn off the upper joint.
As with the Bb the wood condition is excellent, and all fish skin pads are also in
very good shape. A standard B&H m'piece is also supplied.
The case is the original B&H in good used condition.
