This matched pair of Eaton Elites are a commission sale for Clarinets Direct. Initially they were ordered by Einar Johannesson, the well known Icelandic professional, and subsequently owned by a professional player and teacher here in the UK. They have been extremely well maintained.
The Bb has serial no. E202 and has Silver plate in excellent condition. The wood throughout is in fine condition, with no cracks or repairs. All pads are Eddie Ashton superpads, in very good condition.
The A, serial no. E255, has no cracks or repairs. The Silver plate throughout is in excellent shape, as are all super pads and corks. There are 2 barrels of 61.5mm and 62.5mm. The m'pieces are both in good used condition: A Peter Eaton, but with very faint markings, and a B&H 1010 No. 2. The case is of modern light weight type, in excellent condition.
