This is an extremely fine Leblanc LX Bb Clarinet, which is a commission sale for Clarinets Direct. The last professional owner of this clarinet bought it second hand from Howarths of London. It was recently completely overhauled in tan leather pads, with the larger, lower pads, having metal reflectors, by Dean Pelling. The pads are all in "as new" condition. There are no cracks or damage to the wood; minor surface scratches and marks only. There is no plating loss to the Silver key work, apart from a few of the pillars, overall the plating is 98%. This clarinet features a polycylindrical bore design of 14.60mm and responds and tunes excellently. There are two supplied Leblanc barrels of 64 and 66mm. The matching serial nos. are 61816. The Rosetti single case is in excellent condition and the m'piece is a Leblanc.
