BUFFET E13 Bb CLARINET, £775

An excellent condition Buffet, E13 clarinet. The Grenadilla wood is in superb condition, with no scuffs or scratches, pristine. There is no joint wobble. The instrument has just had a complete overhaul in double bladder fish skin pads, and is sold with our 1 year warranty. The key work has also been regulated, with all touch and tenon corks replaced as necessary. The Nickel Silver plating throughout is in pristine condition, with no wear. The matching serial nos. are K82719. Contemporary E13s are treated with a chemical compound designed to prevent cracking. Unfortunately this appears to leach out of the wood after a few weeks of playing, causing many problems with joints sticking or refusing to go together. Thankfully when this instrument was manufactured, Buffet Crampon were still ageing the wood naturally. The supplied m'piece is an upgrade to a Vandoren 5RV in good condition, as is the Buffet case, which is supplied with keys.
