BUFFET E13 Bb CLARINET, £825

An excellent condition Buffet, E13 clarinet. The Grenadilla wood is in superb condition, with no scuffs or scratches. There is no joint wobble. The instrument has just had an overhaul in finest Pisoni Fish skin pads, in our workshop, and is sold with full 1 year warranty. The key work has also been regulated, with all touch and tenon corks replaced as necessary. The Silver plating throughout is pristine, with no wear. The serial nos. are K206900, which dates to the mid 2000's. Contemporary E13s are treated with a chemical compound designed to prevent cracking. Unfortunately this appears to leach out of the wood after a few weeks of playing, causing many problems with joints sticking or refusing to go together. Thankfully when this instrument was manufactured, Buffet Crampon were still ageing the wood naturally. The supplied Buffet m'piece is in good condition and is an upgrade to an older ebonite model with a "C" facing. The Yamaha case is in "as new" condition.
