BUFFET SPECIAL ORDER E13 Bb CLARINET, £895

A superb condition rare special order Buffet E13 Bb clarinet, with additional LH Ab/Eb key, which is normally only seen on Prestige models. This clarinet is Buffet's top student wooden model. The Silver plate key work is pristine, all pieces are original & have bright matching Buffet stamps. The Grenadilla wood is in perfect condition. This clarinet has just been overhauled in the Clarinets Direct workshop in fish skin pads and is sold with our full 1 year warranty. The matching serial nos. are K145515. The m'piece is brand new, and unplayed, as the original owner used the one supplied with her first clarinet. The case is an upgrade to a Buffet Prestige model. Current E13s are being treated by Buffet with a chemical compound, which is supposed to inhibit cracking. In fact this seems to be causing some joint problems for Buffet, with many new instrument owners reporting problems with sticking joints to dealers, due to this compound leaching out from the wood end grain. At the period this instrument was made, thankfully the Grenadilla wood was left to age naturally prior to manufacture.
