BUFFET E13 Bb CLARINET, £945

An extremely good condition Buffet E13 clarinet in Silver plate. The E13 is the top selling student wooden clarinet worldwide. The matching serial numbers are K130342, and all pieces are matching and original with Buffet stamps. There is no damage to the wood, which is crack and repair free. The Silver plating shows no wear, it is in fine shape throughout. The instrument has just had a re-pad in Pisoni deluxe fish skin pads, and is sold with our full 1 year warranty. The case is the original which is in good condition. The m'piece is the original Buffet, again in fine condition. The wood for current E13s is being treated by Buffet with a chemical compound, which is supposed to inhibit cracking. In fact this seems to be causing some joint problems for Buffet, with many new instrument owners reporting problems with sticking joints to dealers, due to this compound leaching out from the wood end grain. At the period this instrument was made, thankfully the Grenadilla wood was left to age naturally prior to manufacture.
