BUFFET E13 Bb CLARINET, £895

An excellent condition E13 clarinet in Silver plate. The E13 is Buffet Crampon's top selling student model. based opn the professional R13 clarinet. The matching serial numbers are K112484, which dates to the early 2000's, and all pieces are original with Buffet stamps. There is no damage to the wood, which is crack and repair free. The Silver plating is in very good condition throughout. The instrument has just had a re-pad in Pisoni deluxe fish skin pads, and is sold with our full 1 year warranty. The case is the original which is in good condition. The m'piece is a stock Buffet 120G. Current E13s are being treated by Buffet with a chemical compound, which is supposed to inhibit cracking. In fact this seems to be causing some joint problems for Buffet, with many new instrument owners reporting problems with sticking joints to dealers, due to this compound leaching out from the wood end grain. At the period this instrument was made, thankfully the Grenadilla wood was left to age naturally prior to manufacture.
