A rare Dolnet, Lefevre, & Pigis C clarinet. Dolnet were active as makers in Mantes from 1880 until WW 2. This instrument seems to be of later manufacture, as it features a double pillar mount for the LH pinky keys, and has a screw through the top of the throat G# key. In addition it is stamped with the later logo design. The German Silver key work is in excellent condition. We have just comnpletely re-padded the clarinet and it is sold with our full 1 year warranty. There are no cracks or repairs to the Grenadilla wood, only slight surface marks and scratches associated with normal use. The matching serial nos. are 9075. The m'piece is a brand new Vandoren AT45, though the instrument will tune well with any standard French bore m'piece. The case is a modern example, in good condition, and comes with keys.
