An excellent condition Leblanc Concerto Bb clarinet.
This instrument has been professionally owned and played by a well known London Jazz player.
Unfortunately this player now faces a large
inheritance
tax bill, and a large part of his excellent selection of clarinets, and saxophones, must be sold.
The Concerto is one of the last of Leblanc's top professional wooden model clarinets,
it features the same polycylindrical bore design, of 14.61mm, as the Opus.
It was made with all of Leblanc's usual engineering excellence; with gold plated needle springs,
separate pillar mounted Ab/Eb, and aged Grenadilla wood.
This example has no damage or repairs to the wood,
which is in excellent condition.
The Silver plate key work is near pristine, with only a slight patch of wear to the register key.
All pieces are original & all have matching stamps.
The fish skin pads are not new, however, they are all sealing perfectly.
There are 2 supplied barrels, of 66mm and 67mm.
The matching serial nos. are 77457.
The supplied m'piece is a Leblanc K10M.
The case is the original, in good condition.
