YAMAHA CX CUSTOM PAIR OF CLARINETS, £1895

An excellent pair of Yamaha CX Custom clarinets, which are a commission sale for CD. Their former, and sole, owner used them throughout her time as a student and later reading Music at Oxford University. Both clarinets are in excellent condition, they have been well maintained. The owner is also prepared to consider splitting the pair, with the A in double case for £945, and Bb in single case at £895.
The Bb, S/N 004135 has no cracks or damage to the wood. The Silver plated key work is also pristine throughout, and in perfect regulation. All fish skin pads are sealing well. All touch and tenon corks are good. There is no joint wobble. The A S/N 04135 is in superb condition, having had very little use from new. All pads are fish skin in good condition. The wood and silver plate keywork are pristine. The m'piece is an upgrade to a Vandoren in 2 tone "swirled" ebonite, which is in excellent shape; no damage to tip, rails or beak. The Orly double case is also in good condition.
