BUFFET Eb CLARINET, £1295

This is an extremely fine single piece, Professional model Buffet Eb Clarinet, S/N N2 which dates to 1899. It was the former property of a professional player and is in extremely good condition for its age. The wood shows no cracks or damage, only minor surface marks. Please note the metal tone hole to LH 2. I have seen other Buffet Eb's of the period with the same feature, it may well be original. The instrument has just been fully overhauled in our workshop in Pisoni Premium Deluxe fish skin pads, and is sold with our full years warranty. There are 2 m'pieces, one is a later Buffet Evettine No. 5 in ebonite, in fair condition. The other is a Couesnon, Perier, Monople in very good condition. Both m'pieces play the instrument comfortably at A=440Hz. In this period fo Buffet manufacture, apart from a flat low E & F, intonation is generally excellent. The case is the original, which still latches well. A superb quality Eb with excellent intonation.
