This is a pristine condition Buffet Prestige Bass Clarinet in Grenadilla wood, to low C, which is a commission sale for Clarinets Direct. The instrument has had only one professional owner, who selected this Bass from many other new examples 3 years ago. He now finds a low Eb Bass sufficient for his needs hence the reason for the sale.
All Silver plated key work is in excellent condition. There are no cracks or damage to the wood which is pristine. The bell and crook are both in superb condition, with no dings, scratches or marks of any kind. The Bass does have a double overblowing vent, and features alternative fingerings for low D. This Bass has the original finest Pisoni White Leather pads throughout in good condition. It is well regulated, the playing condition is superb. There is a floor peg to the bell, and the matching serial nos. are H41153. The instrument is supplied in the original case, which is in good condition, and the keys are supplied. The m'piece is a used professional Lafleur in ebonite, in excellent condition.
