This is an excellent condition Selmer Paris Arthea A Clarinet. This instrument has been professionally owned and played by one careful adult owner, a peripatetic teacher, and is a commission sale for Clarinets Direct. He bought the clarinet new whilst studying at the Royal Military School of Music, Kneller Hall, Whitton. The clarinet is pristine, and has "as new" Pisoni Premium Deluxe white leather pads throughout. Selmer clarinets are undoubtedly amongst the best designed French instruments worldwide. The upper joint features a large reversed cone. This results in exceptionally accurate twelfths, and this makes Selmer's amongst the best tuned instruments on the market today.
The wood shows no cracks or damage, it is in perfect condition. All Silver plate is excellent, as new. The look and solid feel of this key work is far superior to contemporary Buffet manufacture. The supplied barrel measures 65.0 mm & the matching serial numbers are P09639. The double case is an excellent condition BAM original.
