SELMER SERIES 9* Bb CLARINET, £795

This Selmer Series 9* is a commission sale for Clarinets direct. This instrument is in superb condition, and has had only one careful adult owner from new. The 9* was marketed by Selmer as "pour la musique symphonique", the 9 was "pour le jazz et les varietes." In other words the slightly smaller bore 9*, with undercutting, was aimed at the classical market, the wide bore 9 at the Jazz market. The clarinet has matching serial nos., Y 7882 which dates to 1975 & and is one of the last 9*'s made. The Nickel Silver plating is excellent throughout, with no wear. The pads are all brand new fish skin, the instrument has just had a complete re-pad in the Clarinets Direct and is sold with our full 1 year warranty, which is unusual for a commission sale. The instrument shows NO evidence of cracks or repairs; the wood throughout is pristine. The original case is in excellent condition, and is supplied with keys. The m'piece is a used Selmer D, again in excellent condition.
