This early Imperial 926 Bb Clarinet is a commission sale for Clarinets Direct. The Imperial 926 was manufactured as a professional quality instrument on a par with the Imperial Symphony 1010, but with a bore of 15.0mm, as opposed to the 15.25mm of the 1010.
This Bb, serial no. 49342, has no cracks or repairs. The barrel is a later Boosey & Hawkes, of the correct bore marked "short". The Silver plate throughout is in good condition with no wear, apart from the LH thumb bush. The instrument has just been completely overhauled in Tan Leather pads by Clarinets Direct, and is sold with our full 1 year warranty. The supplied m'piece is a custom 926 by Jon Steward in excellent condition, which tunes this clarinet exceptionally well. The case is a modern example also in good used condition.
