This good condition Imperial 926 Bb Clarinet has been professionally owned here in the Uk. the current owner now faces an Inheritance Tax bill, and several of his clarinets are being sold through Clarinets Direct. The Imperial 926 was manufactured as a professional quality instrument on a par with the Imperial Symphony 1010, but with a bore of 15.0mm, as opposed to the 15.25mm of the 1010.
This Bb, with matching serial nos. 456300, has wood with no cracks or repairs to the main pieces, however the barrel has a repaired crack, which has been filled and sealed, see photo 4. The Silver plate shows some wear, mainly to the ring finger touchpieces. The tan leather pads are used, but all sealing well. The supplied m'piece is an original B&H 926 No. 3 in good condition. The case has some interior stains and scuffs to the exterior, it still protects the clarinet & latches well.
