PETER EATON 600 A CLARINET, £1695

This is a MINT condition Peter Eaton model 600 A clarinet. The 600 model was an entry level professional model, compatible to the Elite. This instrument was originally sold to make a pair with an Elite Bb. The original Eaton valuation certificate, which dates the instrument to Nov 1995, is included. The Elite Bb which was part of the pair has just been sold by ourselves, and a comparison between the valuation figures provided by Eaton, for both the Elite Bb and 600 A, shows that the 600, in double case, was sold for 35% less than the Elite. The instrument is a commission sale for Clarinets Direct. It has had only one exceptionally careful professional owner, she has now decided to concentrate on singing.
This clarinet has no cracks or damage; it is in pristine condition. The instrument has Nickel Silver plate in perfect condition. The tan leather pads are also like new. The matching serial numbers are 6126. Here is a chance for someone to own an instrument completely compatible with an Elite Bb, for a massive saving against the cost of an Elite A from Eaton direct. By comparison with Eatons current prices, the 600 A in double case, would retail today for approximately £2330 new. The case is a Paxman model in excellent used condition. This instrument would pair well with either of the Elite Bbs currently on our website, nos. 7 & 37.
