SELMER, PARIS, 10S ENHANCED BOEHM Bb CLARINET, £1095

This Selmer 10S enhanced Boehm clarinet is in superb condition, and is a commission sale for Clarinets Direct, the current owner is a professional player in The Netherlands. This instrument features most of the "bells and whistles" associated with a Full Boehm: Fork Eb/Bb, alternative LH Ab/Eb, articulated C#/G#, apart from low Eb. The Selmer 10 series was the first major model manufactured by Selmer to adopt a small bore undercut design, in the Buffet Crampon manner: Indeed with a bore of only 14.60mm, the 10S is even smaller in the bore than the Buffet R13. The clarinet is extremely lively, easy to play, and has excellent intonation.
This Bb, S/N C3563, dates to the mid 1980's and has Silver plate, throughout in excellent condition. There are no cracks or damage to the wood, which is in fine order throughout. All pieces are original and have matching stamps. There are 2 supplied barrels of 64.5mm and 60.0mm. The clarinet has pads in good condition, it has been down to our workshop for a partial service, with pads replaced as necessary. The m'piece is again a Selmer D in very good condition. The case is the original Selmer, with slight stains to the interior lining, it is in very good condition.
